Single girder cranes

This system is the most popular solution for industrial applications.

This maximizes the space of an open platform and provides the most flexible material handling systems. It enables a streamlined operation and is cost efficient. Not only is it made of high quality materials, but it is also simple to install and requires very little maintenance. The open system for overhead movement entails two beams, either in the form of floor attached arches or roof hanging rails, and at least one girder. Movement is enabled by the tool of choice, either a TAWI VacuMove, VacuCobra or ViperHoist lift. The tool is hung from the bridge and the accompanied vacuum tube or electrical cord is delicately managed in the overhead structure of the single girder crane system.

This system works great for long distances,  and can be designed around a single beam structure in steel. The needing for only a few, if any at all, supporting columns provides the advantage of being out of the way. It can cover large work spaces and be equipped with a long lane of multiple bridges to cover many workstations.
