Efficient and ergonomic bag lifters
Handle all types of bags, no matter their material, with a TAWI vacuum bag lifter. Suction feet can be custom made to make it easy to grip and lift plastic, paper and woven bags.
TAWI vacuum bag lifters help you handle all types of bags using vacuum technology to safely hold the bags, with minimal effort. They are very user-friendly and an ergonomic handle helps ensure a good working position at all times.
All of our bag lifting solutions can be customized to your operational needs, and to fit within your environment as well as budget. The vacuum pump itself can be placed up to 30 meters from the actual lifting point and the lifting tube is suspended on a swivel to enable a full 360 degrees of operation. Our vacuum lifting solutions can also be configured in stainless steel for facilities with specific restrictions. A TAWI bag lifter requires a minimum amount of training, enabling users to get up and running within minutes.
Suction feet can be equipped with a rubber skirt to compensate for any air leakage when handling porous packaging material. In addition, the suction foot can hold bags securely in place until it has reached the floor, even if power is lost, with a safety valve that shuts down the equipment and lowers the load gently and under complete control.
Lifting paper bags requires both precision and strength. Additionally, manually lifting paper bags can create a financial strain on your company and a physical one on your employees. TAWI offers time-saving and ergonomic solutions for lifting and moving paper bags without the damaging contents. Our paper bag lifters are specifically designed to save knees, backs and shoulders from workplace injuries and from loss of productivity caused by repetitive manual handling.
Lifting plastic bags, on the other hand, can be awkward to grip and makes manually handling these types of bags a challenge because of their varying types of surfaces and dimensions. Our vacuum bag lifter allows you to lift most types of air tight plastic bags in a safe, efficient, and more cost-effective manner – all day, every day.
Lifting heavy woven, burlap, canvas, and jute bags can be cumbersome and awkward, often requiring numerous employees per bag, and brings with it a risk of injury to both employees and contents. For these particular bags, a special gripping tool can lift them carefully, without damaging the bag. A gripping tool is very easy to use, using the weight of the goods to secure the grip and letting the operator control the load with minimal effort. The tool can be mounted either on a Vacuum Lifter or Electric Hoist Lift. The ergonomic handle on the lifter provides easy and smooth handling for the operator, maximizes productivity, and ensures accuracy.
With TAWI’s vacuum powered bag lifters, each and every worker can have precise and weightless control of even the heaviest, most cumbersome bag, making it easier to achieve workplace diversity, since all workers can lift the same loads, removing the obstacle of physical limitations of size or strength.
